Stabilizing One's Energy Field

A question was asked with respect to "New Ways of Relating - Part 2," and I would like to share my response with you since others might have this question as well:

"Stabilizing one's energy field' is a physical/energetic practice that takes place in the body and in the auric envelope that maintains light energy of a particular potency and quality no matter what the surroundings. This is something you can feel when it is present and can begin to sense when it is absent. It is furthered by any regular spiritual practice that attunes you to the higher vibrations of light, and also by allowing conscious breathing to be part of your daily routine."

There are other ways of stabilizing one's energy field that have to do with diet, and also with the transformation of the environments you are in or choose to be in. Maintaining an energy field of a higher vibration around you helps with what goes on within you as well.

If you have not yet considered creating a sacred altar space in your home, this may be a way to begin. Blessings.

Making a Decision About the H1N1 Flu Vaccine

The following was a response to a Message by Request inquiry about the H1N1 flu vaccine. The person who wrote was concerned about how to make a decision regarding the vaccine for herself, and what to recommend to her adult children and grandchildren. I post it here since it is of general concern to people at this time.

-------------------

Dear One,

You are overly concerned about the effect (referring to rearrangement of DNA) of this vaccine on your body. It is not going to rearrange your DNA but it may not be necessary for you either. The problem is that individual souls are not aware of their relationship to the collective energy currents that are moving through a situation or populace, and so they think they are like everybody else. This is a mistaken notion.

Your own body needs to determine whether the balance of vulnerability or the danger of interfering effects from the vaccine is the more serious consideration in your particular instance. There is no 'one size fits all' solution to this question of who should get the vaccine. The vaccine will promote greater health for some people and may promote more serious interference with the energy flow that they are presently experiencing in others. The best plan is to consult your own body, to pray about it, and to ask your body and your spirit what it needs. This, above all, is a lesson in listening and in trust. Though you are part of a collective humanity, you are also an individual soul and you need to listen to the guidance that comes from within to make this decision as well as many others of like nature.

Where anxiety about trusting inner guidance is still present, and a lack of feeling safe with individual decision-making remains, it is important to factor the anxiety into the equation as well, without blame, but with a sense that the overall situation must be taken into account. This situation will certainly change as access to inner guidance becomes clearer and more available, and one's own Divine being is more forthrightly perceived.

Blessings.

The Grace of Divine Light

...all debts shall be paid in the grace of Divine light..."

This is a meditation for our time, Beloveds, for it is not only that healing is taking place and karmic 'debts' are being paid, it is also that healing is taking place "in the grace of Divine light." What this means is that no matter how difficult the past may have been or the future may appear, the same light that is bringing to the fore all that is in need of healing, is simultaneously carrying one over and through whatever obstacles may be created as a result of this process.

The problem for many is the absence of the feeling of being carried. This creates a sadness and sense of aloneness of varying degrees of intensity, depending on how strong the absence of feeling may be. For those enduring through this empty place, 'knowing' and the truth of one's being must be relied on rather than feeling, until the covering over the actual perception of light may be lifted.

That this is possible is a tribute to the way in which each heart is made. It is a reason to not be afraid. For even if the mind doubts and the emotions forget, the deepest heart which is the seat of the soul remains in its place of truth, knowing that love is the foundation of life and the foundation of each individual's life. Because of this, the heart can remain strong and the inner being can remain faithful. Pray to feel a connection with this inner being and inner knowing. It is there.

Amen.

Accessing Inner Guidance

There are many who feel that 'guidance' is for others -
that there is no inner voice that speaks to them when the ask for help.

The understanding must broaden and the cues must
become more subtle, so that words are not looked for
but the heart is asked to reflect the highest wisdom of the soul.

When you pray for guidance and ask for help, ask that your heart
perceive the answer through its sense of 'rightness.'
This sense of 'rightness' belongs to every soul.
It is the message of one's higher being that, when called upon,
points the way that is in greatest harmony with the larger self.

Purification on the Mental Level

It is not uncommon as the intensity of light increases, for people to be troubled by repetitive thoughts that they would rather not have. Even where worry and obsessive patterns of thinking have not been pronounced before, increased light begins to purify the body by sending energies from both the physical organism and the subconscious mind into the conscious mind. As a result, 'flooding' is often felt or unwanted mental activity.

What is important about this is to know that a purification process is underway. Also that such heightened mental activity often comes in waves that reach peak intensity then subside. While these waves are active and intense, it is useful to know how to bring energy to the heart. Bringing energy to the heart and disconnecting from mental activity allows the releasing from the body to continue unabated, while the conscious self becomes more able to dis-identify with the mind. Thus, a separation is created between one's awareness or point of focus and one's thought process.

To bring energy into the heart, the easiest and most effective route is through sacred breathing which brings light and love into the heart center. Sacred breathing is a means of aligning with God's light and love and in the presence of overactive mental acitivity, it focuses attention on a different energy than the one which the mind carries.

To re-direct energy to the heart, the Practice of Alignment is useful, as is any other spiritual or meditative practice which brings light into the heart center. During times of intense purification, it is important to not force things - to not get into a struggle with one's thoughts, but rather to have a different direction to turn to so that peace and stability can be created, even in the midst of a mental storm.

Times of Difficulty

The heart may be weary and the body distressed, yet the soul has a life of its own that can be turned to in times of difficulty.

If you think you cannot reach this inner life, the road toward it is through the breath. This is not the only road, but the one that can be followed most easily.

Breathe in light, feel it as you. Know that you are God's beloved even now.

Anchoring in the Heart

Anchoring in the heart is an energetic phenomenon, part of the process of purification which includes the understanding that the mind is not the sole place of identity, and that there is another source of truth and reality available when difficult thoughts or patterns of thinking arise.

In such moments, we have a choice as to whether to give energy and attention to the content of our minds, or to redirect energy and attention to the heart where a deeper level of truth can be found. In the ordinary course of a day, depending on the content of our thoughts, the choice is often made to be with what is, without interference or censorship. However, when energies of negativity and darkness are pronounced, creating confusion, doubt, chaos, or despair, it is more constructive to breathe into the heart and to let go of mental content altogether.

This activity of shifting energy and focus is called 'repolarization' or 'repolarization to the heart.' What is involved here is not fighting with one's thoughts in order to gain control over them, but rather creating a space between awareness and thought so that the latter can be observed more from a distance and a new pathway can be created to a deeper truth. We turn to the heart, seat of the soul, as the contiainer for this truth - the place where love and light can be found even when the mind has completely forgotten these. Such love and light can still exist even in the presence of negative mental activity and even when they are not felt as specific emotions.

'Anchoring in the heart' is a spiritual practice, able to be engaged in at different levels of depth. Breathe into the heart center in the center of the chest, place your hand over that center, create a wish and intention to empower the heart's deeper knowing rather than the thoughts of the mind. Each of these elements helps to shift energy to the heart, and where energy flows, there content will flow as well.

Intrinsic to this process is the understanding that we are not our minds. We are not our thoughts. A deeper layer of being can be found and turned to at times of difficulty. Holding to this allows the tide of negative activity to pass more quickly.

Here are some forms of mental activity that often reflect darkness in the mind:

self-accusations and judgments
self-doubt
thoughts of failure
fear or dread
chaotic or fragmented thinking
anger or rage
accusations toward others
contempt or ridicule
depressive thoughts
disbelief in what one has held to be most true

When darkness in the mind is met with 'anchoring in the heart', this movement can help to stabilize the self, creating a current of peace and hope even in the midst of depression, anxiety or turbulence.

Purification - The Beginning

The place to begin the process of purification is always right where you are. Indeed, in a certain sense there is no real beginning, since much may have taken place already without the conscious self playing an active part. In this historical sense, all spiritual growth, maturation, and evolution contain elements which free the personal self and bring it incrementally closer to deeper levels of truth and love.

Nevertheless, the real beginining of a conscious process of purification is a different matter. It begins simply with the awakened intention to become more aware, more responsible for ones thoughts and actions, more pure in mind, body, and heart. Often, this is all encapsulated in a unified desire to be closer to God.

The simple intention to purify initiates the process when it is wedded to the understanding that this is not a process undertaken through one's own will or effort, but through one's own will joined with Divine will. This joining is key, for it allows for the gradual acceptance of both inner and outer events that the ego-self may formerly have repressed, rejected, or denied.

Prayer and alignment with the higher vibrations of light are instrumental in accelerating the purification process and in helping the beginning. Prayers for healing and for the aid of Divine beings have always been instrumental in assisting forward motion into deeper layers of inner truth. But when the incorporation of spiritual light as an energy into body, heart, and mind is added to these, then purification can be accelerated and new awarenesses can come to the fore, allowing new choices to be made.

Humility and Patience

Humility and patience are also needed in beginning a conscious process of purification, for it is easy to think that a problem or issue that reveals itself 'should have' been finished or put to rest long ago. Our ego-self would rather that it be that way. However, in our own efforts at healing, it often happens that the deepest roots of a particular issue may have remained untouched, even while the more surface levels were accessible to our consciousness. This is nobody's fault, for there is a Divine timing to the unfoldment of issues in need of healing, and some levels of that unfoldment can only take place after others have been fully exposed. Furthermore, some can only emerge after the body has become able to hold a greater amount of spiritual light.

Patience and humility are needed even when great spiritual strides have been made, for there may still be deeply rooted matters that prevent full incorporation of God's light and love that need to be faced with honesty and courage.

In the end, it is the desire to experience Divine reality that allows us to pursue the path of purification, confronting challenges and moving past obstacles toward a goal that our heart deems to be singularly important. This goal is the union of the human and the Divine within us, and although the conscious self may have much more modest aims, at bottom, all efforts at healing are efforts to end the separation of the human and the Divine, for all that is in need of healing stems from this separation.

Note: A simple way to begin the conscious process of purification is with the Practice of Alignment on a regular basis. This practice brings more light into body and consciousness and sets the process in motion in a more complete way.

Other forms of prayer and meditation are also helpful, as is being with others in a sacred manner with united intention. The synergy of such a group helps promote healing and movement forward in a way that often would take much longer if left to each person's own resources.

Return

The proecess of purification is fueled by the energy of light
and fostered by the human heart's desire to return home.
